FERPA Compliance
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a U.S. federal law that protects student education records. It gives students the right to access and control their data and applies to institutions receiving federal funding. Profile supports FERPA-aligned data handling by working directly with institutions, establishing appropriate agreements, and ensuring access and permissions are managed in accordance with institutional requirements.
