QA / DevOps Engineer
Profile's growing our engineering team and looking for someone who can own the reliability, security, and quality of our entire platform. This is a high-ownership role as you'll build our testing infrastructure, manage our cloud environments, and ensure everything we ship is solid. If you like wearing multiple hats and having a direct impact on product quality, this is for you.
Location
This position offers remote flexibility, with a preference for candidates based in the EST or CST time zones.
Compensation and Benefits
- A competitive salary of up to $90,000 (or based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, networking, and server environments
- Develop and maintain automated test suites and QA tooling
- Own network security, access controls, and infrastructure hardening
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations across our global infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and incident response
- Collaborate with developers to establish and enforce quality standards across the codebase
- Manage DNS, SSL, firewalls, and other core infrastructure concerns
- Evaluate and implement tooling to improve development velocity and deployment confidence
- Document infrastructure architecture and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, QA engineering, or a combination
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as DigitalOcean, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience deploying and managing ML/AI model serving infrastructure for production inference workloads
- Solid understanding of GDPR, data residency requirements, and privacy-by-design principles in global environments
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and access management
- Experience developing automated test frameworks and QA processes
- Comfortable with Linux server administration
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MongoDB or other database administration is a plus
- Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, or similar languages is a plus
